Gjeilo Camping

I had a really good feeling about this campground from the very first second. What stood out to me in particular was the friendly staff. You can tell they put their heart and soul into their work here. The atmosphere also won me over. Compared to other campgrounds, there’s a noticeably warm and relaxed vibe here is a huge plus, especially for families. I was really thrilled by the location right on the river. The nearby water lends a special sense of tranquility to the stay. The Wi-Fi was also impressive for me. I had a stable connection everywhere on the grounds. All in all, a well-rounded and positive experience. Friendly staff, a family-like atmosphere, a great location by the river, and good Wi-Fi. I highly recommend it.

We only stayed for one night, but we really enjoyed our time here and would have loved to stay longer. We stayed in one of the cabins, which was clean and comfortable. The sanitary facilities were just a short walk away, making everything very convenient. The surrounding landscape is absolutely beautiful and perfect for relaxing. Overall, a wonderful campsite that we would happily recommend.

Very friendly staff, amazing location by the riverside where you can calmly let loose the kids because the water is shallow. The camping ground has all the services you need to feel at home and comfortable. Would come back anytime!
