Gjerde Camping

The campground is very neat and clean. We didn't realize the hot water for the showers was coin operated before arriving late last night and we had no coins (10kr/5min). They had just started using online booking and hadn't realized their guests had no way of knowing this beforehand. I emailed the host about it and they responded promptly and said they left some coins in a bag, hanging on our mirror, for us to use. We gladly accepted the favor as we were in desperate need of a shower. I would highly recommend this campsite and bringing some 10kr with you for hot showers.
