Motorhome holidays, outdoor activities and camping are recruiting like never before, and the desire to experience the world along the way continues to increase. But it can often be difficult to decide on an itinerary and find inspiration for activities and sights along the way. Fortunately, there are many who have already done the job for us.

We have chosen to collect some of our favorite travel blogs, and in this post we would like to present Vie Veier - a travel blog by Per Vie.

Per Vie is one of Norway's most famous motorhome bloggers, and has written fantastic travel letters from his trips behind the wheel in Norway and Europe. He has also developed a beginner's course for those who are about to embark on the joys of motorhome life for the first time. We have spoken to Per Vie and asked him to answer 3 quick questions that we had:

Favorite destination in Norway?

I think I would answer Northern Norway, and especially Hamarøy and Steigen. After all, Northerners are wonderful people. As for the rest of Europe, it's the small towns along the coast of France, and of course Tuscany in Italy.

Chalk-white beaches in Steigen.

How do you plan your trip?

I plan little, but travel more on luck and good intentions. I tend to point out when I give lectures that it's a good idea to plan a little more than I do, especially about tolls and road taxes in the different countries down in Europe. Otherwise, I like to make spontaneous choices along the way, see what comes up, and make the next choice after that.

I'm a little more careful with planning when it comes to important things to take with me on a trip. Pack smartly, as the total weight can be a problem for us who have to keep under 3.5 tons.

When of the year do you travel?

I travel all year round, summer and winter. I have a diesel heater in the car, and it was nice and warm in the car on Haukelifjell in minus 14 degrees.
