Die Sanitäranlagen könnten sauberer sein und sind in Containern. Auch generell mehr Liebe könnte in den Platz gesteckt werden. Auf anderen Plätzen wo wir ware gab es z.Bsp. schöne Bepflanzungen. Hier wird sich wohl auf die Lage ausgeruht.

wonderful and quiet spot. service are essential but clean. If we had the possibility to stay two days more, we would have rented the boat from Olaf to navigate the fjord and hiked the Rimstigen.

Wonderful place for camping. The most beautiful surroundings we had during our Norway holiday. We camped with a tent and had a great spot on top of the hill. There aren’t many tent spots, since the terrain is sloped, but there’s space for about 5 to 6 tents on even ground. Because of that, there’s plenty of distance between tents, which we really appreciated. Make sure to book your stay in advance, either by calling or through Campio, as it’s a small campsite and the owners don’t allow too many guests. We found that a big plus — it keeps the atmosphere calm and relaxed. We stayed for 5 nights, going on hikes and visiting Flåm, but also just relaxing at the campsite and swimming in the fjord. Facilities are basic but have everything you need: two toilets with a sink, and one shower room with a toilet. All have power and heating. There’s no kitchen, but there is a place where you can do the dishes. The water is cold there, but if you need hot water, you can take it from the toilet or shower. Electricity is generally not available for tents, but for a few spots something can be arranged with an extension cord upon request. We loved that it was (relatively) quiet and peaceful here, at the end of the fjord. No traffic, beautiful views, and a lovely place to stay with your tent, not on a road, and with a great area around the house including picnic tables, a BBQ, and the dock where you could chill. Olaf and his wife were kind hosts and we enjoyed staying here!
